Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan and coordinate hardware and software upgrades for mission-critical customers, ensuring current supported versions and seamless integrations.

You will lead cross-functional teams across AMEA, ANZ and LACR, drive technical discussions, translate complexity into delivery plans, and manage risks with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 4–7 years of proven technical project management experience in telecom networks, systems integration, complex software deployments, or IT managed services.
• Strong technical background in LMR / Wireless Systems (TETRA, APX, P25), IP Networking, Servers and IT terminology.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, ServiceNow).
• Certifications (Preferred) PMP or PMI-ACP; ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile PM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Governance & Lifecycle Management; liaise between Stakeholders, Services, Finance, and Leadership to align scope.
• Project Management: oversee baselines, dependencies, schedules, budgets, KPIs; mitigate risks and trade-offs.
• Stakeholder Alignment: work with Technical Leads, System Engineers, Solution Architects, Field Service Managers; provide status reports and risk assessments.
• Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive cross-functional ownership.
