Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager in Penang, Malaysia. You will plan and coordinate deployment of software and hardware upgrades across AMEA MSS customers, leading cross-functional teams to deliver upgrades on current supported versions.

The role requires 3–7 years of technical project management, strong LMR/Wireless and IP networking knowledge, and hands-on use of JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–7 years of proven technical project management experience in telecom networks, systems integration, software deployments, or IT managed services.
• Strong technical background in LMR / Wireless Systems (TETRA, APX, P25), IP Networking, Servers and IT terminology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Stakeholders, Customer Service Manager, Services team, Finance, Order Management, Factory/Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to align project scope.
• Maintain rigorous oversight of baselines, scopes, dependencies, schedules, budgets, and KPIs.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and schedule trade-offs to protect delivery timelines.
• Work with Technical Leads, System Engineers, Solution Architects, and Field Service Managers to resolve architectural bottlenecks.
• Provide regular executive status reporting, risk assessments, and escalation metrics to AMEA leadership.
