Job summary

Motorola Solutions in AMEA region is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technical delivery for hardware upgrade projects within the AMEA Managed and Support Services team. You will drive design, migration planning, and system acceptance across critical customer environments.

The role requires expertise in IP networking, Public Safety radio systems, and robust communication skills to coordinate with project teams and customers across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering, or Computer Science with strong customer-facing experience.
• Preferred certifications such as CCNA and CompTIA Network+; RHCSA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of digital communications systems, especially mobile/cellular radio networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of hardware upgrade projects from kickoff to system acceptance.
• Design and implement replacement Public Safety radio systems.
• Coordinate network changes across switches, routers, firewalls, and other devices.
• Plan migrations to minimize service disruption for mission-critical systems.
• Provide technical leadership in customer meetings and stakeholders communication.
• Develop system documentation, diagrams, and configuration specs.
