Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia in Penang is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Support professional to provide analysis, troubleshooting and proactive assistance for Land Mobile Radio systems and related IT environments. You will work to resolve incidents, implement fixes and align with our customer resolution processes to protect operational continuity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related engineering, strong English communication, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
Experience with IT infrastructure setup and remote support preferred.
Experience with Land Mobile Radio infrastructure is a plus.
Fluent English communication required.

Responsibilities

Provide analysis details based on data gathered from LMR systems and incidents.
Research and identify fixes for common problems.
Apply strong communication, analytical and organizational skills to ensure incidents, changes and requests are resolved in a timely manner.
Work to align with our Customer Issue Resolution process to meet organizational metrics and goals.
Maintain proper governance, documentation and reporting for all support cases, inclusive of information on characterization, restoration and resolution.
Troubleshoot, root cause and resolve all MSI supported products (Radio communication systems).
Escalate urgent cases requiring more advanced knowledge to appropriate internal resources.
Collaborate and engage with various global technical organizations when determining optimal customer solutions.
Contribute to knowledge base articles.
