Job summary

ABB Motion Service Division in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a Service Sales Manager to drive service sales, generate opportunities, and secure profitable orders within the designated area. You will focus on Installed Base penetration and promote the full Service portfolio through strong customer engagement.

This hybrid role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, solid experience in sales or technical sales for motors and generators, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in sales, service sales or technical sales, preferably involving industrial motors, generators or rotating equipment.
• Understanding of Motor & Generator lifecycle services, including maintenance, repair/overhaul, upgrades, retrofits and condition-related service opportunities.
• Strong commercial and customer-facing capability to develop opportunities and close profitable service orders.
• Ability to translate customer technical requirements into suitable service solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills; willing to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive service sales processes and opportunities.
• Penetrate Installed Base and promote the Motion Services portfolio.
• Build long-term customer relationships and provide integrated lifecycle solutions.
• Develop account/service sales plans and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
