Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior / Merchandising Operations Manager to own a large-scale merchandising project and drive team performance across the field. You will ensure operational excellence while coordinating with client stakeholders and internal teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, KPI-driven management, and hands-on field oversight, with a focus on data insights and continuous improvement to boost project effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in merchandising, retail, field ops or project management.
• Strong people leadership & stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on, proactive and results-oriented.
• Strong understanding of KPI, SOP and field operations.
• Comfortable with field visits and managing a fast-paced operation.
• Proficient in Excel / BI reporting tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall merchandising operations & project execution, acting as the key liaison between client and internal stakeholder.
• Drive team performance, KPI achievement, productivity & discipline.
• Manage manpower planning and resolve operational / HR-related matters.
• Leverage BI & data insights to identify gaps, opportunities and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance project effectiveness and efficiency.
• Coach and develop the team through field visits and training.
• Monitor field execution, tracking systems and daily reports to ensure compliance.
• Build strong relationships with key outlet buyers and stakeholders.
