Job summary

Ngeam Engineering Works Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, draft, and supervise mechanical projects across fertilizer plants, feed mills, and factory automation initiatives in Malaysia. You will prepare technical drawings, coordinate with production and suppliers, and support installation and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background with 3+ years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and ready to travel as needed for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in an engineering field (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering).
• Proficiency with engineering design systems such as AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of mechanical design and steel fabrication technology.
• Familiar with bulk material handling systems and factory automation is an added advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas based on a project basis.

Responsibilities

• To prepare deliverables such as technical drawing, Layout Drawing, ITP, Engineering Data, and other relevant documentation.
• To coordinate & provide technical support for project activities.
• To involve in the design, quality assurance, supervised installation & commissioning.
• Planning & executing mechanical designs using CAD System (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Working closely with production, subcontractors, and suppliers.
