Job summary

MINSEC ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. invites a professional engineer to join its fabrication and site management team in Malaysia.

You will monitor fabrication and site works, ensure cost, quality and delivery targets are met, and liaise with consultants and subcontractors to apply designs accurately. You will supervise daily on-site activities, oversee health and safety and quality control, resolve technical issues, and assist managers with progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and visualise architectural, C&S and M&E drawings.
• 1-2 years of related field experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise fabrication and site works to meet cost, quality and delivery lead times.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors and general workforce on project execution.
• Day-to-day management of on-site works and sub-contractor workforce.
• Oversee quality control and health & safety matters on site.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues as they arise.
• Assist Managers in preparing detailed progress reports.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and documents.

An engineer is part of the fabrication and site management team, and takes responsibility for organising work and monitoring work progress, supervising materials, make sure designs are applied correctly and liaise with sub-contractors and consultant.

Job Description

To monitor and supervise fabrication and site works, to ensure it meets the requirements in term of cost, quality and delivery lead time.

Liaising with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, and general workforce involved in the project.

Day-to-day management of workplace, including supervising and monitoring the works and the workforce of subcontractors.

Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters.

Assist in resolving technical and operational issues.

Assisting Managers in preparation of detailed progress reports.

Understand the detailed engineering drawings and documents to ensure works are carried out accordingly.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Able to understand and visualise section and elevation view in architecture, C&S and M&E drawings.

Preferable engineer with at least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.

Fresh graduates also are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must be willing to work in any project site within Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and Indonesia.
