Job summary

GST Marine Products Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks a Marketing Executive to plan and execute export marketing strategies for international markets, and develop engaging B2B materials and campaigns.

The role includes coordinating international exhibitions, managing digital content on LinkedIn and websites, and supporting the Export/Sales team with promotional activities for overseas customers. 3+ years of experience and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in export, B2B, FMCG, food, seafood, or related industries.
• Experience in international exhibitions, trade fairs, export marketing, or overseas market development is an advantage.
• Strong English communication, copywriting, presentation, and content creation skills.

• Support the planning and execution of export marketing strategies and campaigns for international markets.
• Conduct international market research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity studies.
• Develop B2B marketing materials including company profiles, product catalogues, presentations, brochures, and e-catalogues.
• Support the Export/Sales team with marketing materials and promotional activities for overseas customers, importers, distributors, and retailers.
• Plan and coordinate international exhibitions, trade fairs, and business events, including booth setup, marketing materials, product displays, and post-event reporting.
• Manage export-focused digital marketing content across LinkedIn, website, social media, and other relevant platforms.
• Create engaging content highlighting the company’s seafood products, sustainability, certifications, aquaculture capabilities, and export strengths.
• Support new product launches and market entry activities for overseas markets.
• Monitor export marketing performance, leads, market feedback, and competitor activities.
• Work closely with Export/Sales, related departments, and Management team to ensure accurate and effective export marketing communication.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in export, B2B, FMCG, food, seafood, or related industries.
• Experience in international exhibitions, trade fairs, export marketing, or overseas market development is an advantage.
• Strong English communication, copywriting, presentation, and content creation skills.
• Good knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, website content, and digital marketing platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva.
• Strong organizational, project management, market research, and analytical skills.
• Proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel overseas for exhibitions, business events, and market visits when required.
• Proficient in English,and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
