Job summary

Celestica is seeking a senior engineering professional to design, develop, and implement the complete manufacturing test strategy for new electromechanical products. You will own the test process from design phase through production, including hardware, software, and procedures.

You will lead DFT/DFM integration, diagnose yield issues with root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement by adopting new test technologies and automation tools such as Visual Basic, LabVIEW, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 6–8 years’ manufacturing test experience.
• Proven track record defining, developing, and implementing test strategies for new hardware products.
• Deep mastery of DFT and DFM principles and their practical application.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems; familiarity with sensors and DC circuits.
• Experience with test automation and scripting (Visual Basic, LabVIEW, Python).
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills; capable of leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own the complete manufacturing test strategy for NPI and production.
• Collaborate with R&D to embed DFT/DFM principles early in design.
• Lead investigations into yield issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Scout, evaluate, and implement new test technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop training programs and troubleshooting guides for Test Technicians.
