Job summary

Celestica is seeking a senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead the development and deployment of full-lifecycle test methodologies across ICT, MDA, FCT, ESS and system validation in a Malaysia-based facility.

You will partner with customer engineering during NPI to enforce DFT/DFM, oversee automated test equipment and MES data logging, and drive root-cause analysis with Quality and Manufacturing teams to achieve 100% fault coverage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering.
• 2–3 years in technical leadership or management role.
• EMS/Contract Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy full-lifecycle test methodologies (ICT, MDA, FCT, ESS, validation).
• Partner with customer engineering teams during NPI to drive DFT/DFM.
• Oversee development and integration of automated test equipment and MES data logging.
• Monitor line performance and lead root-cause analysis with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Optimize test station takt times and cycle times to meet throughput with 100% fault coverage.
• Manage maintenance, calibration, and downtime tracking for test fixtures and ATE platforms.
• Escalate test coverage and platform transfer discussions with customers.
• Prepare and support ISO, AS9100 and Nadcap audits.
