The Senior Manager, Facilities is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of all facility management functions across the manufacturing site. This role ensures reliable operation of plant utilities, infrastructure, building systems, environmental compliance, workplace safety, construction projects, and facility expansion initiatives. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams to support business growth, operational excellence, sustainability objectives, and compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Develop and execute site facilities strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead long-term infrastructure planning, capacity expansion, and facility improvement initiatives.
Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and sustainability programs.
Establish annual departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
Oversee daily operation and maintenance of facility systems, including:
Electrical distribution systems
HVAC systems
Compressed air systems
Chilled water systems
DI water systems
Wastewater treatment facilities
Fire protection systems
Building management systems
Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to support manufacturing operations.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Support compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, and corporate EHS standards.
Lead audits, inspections, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting activities.
Partner with EHS teams to identify and mitigate facility-related risks.
Lead facility expansion, renovation, and capital investment projects.
Manage project budgets, timelines, contractors, and stakeholders.
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational requirements.
Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Develop and manage operating and capital expenditure budgets.
Monitor utility consumption and cost performance.
Identify opportunities for energy savings and operational efficiency improvements.
Ensure effective vendor and contract management.
Lead energy management and sustainability programs.
Drive carbon reduction, water conservation, and waste reduction initiatives.
Support corporate ESG and sustainability objectives.
Monitor and report environmental performance metrics.
Lead, coach, and develop Facilities Engineering and Facilities Operations teams.
Build organizational capability and succession planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Promote employee engagement and professional development.
Serve as primary liaison with government agencies, utility providers, consultants, and contractors.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, Security, and EHS teams.
Provide facility-related updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Promote Industry 4.0 initiatives within Facilities operations.
Utilize AI-driven predictive maintenance tools and building analytics platforms.
Drive automation, smart monitoring systems, and data-driven decision making.
Leverage digital technologies to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Facilities, or related discipline).
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Facilities, Engineering, Utilities, or Manufacturing Operations.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing managers, engineers, and technical teams.
Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
