We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of factory facilities and equipment. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company standards and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the Maintenance team.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, allocate manpower, and monitor maintenance quality and team performance.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to drive equipment improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
Oversee the maintenance of factory facilities and utility systems, including:
Electrical Systems (High & Low Voltage Power Distribution)
Mechanical Systems
HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)
Air Compressors & Compressed Air Systems
Water Supply & Plumbing Systems
Building Facilities Maintenance
Utility Systems (Power Supply, Compressed Air, Water Supply & Drainage, Fire Protection, etc.)
Manage contractors and supervise engineering projects to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO management systems and applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits and maintain regulatory compliance.
Job Requirements
5 – 7 years of working experience in factory facility maintenance, utility operations or industrial equipment maintenance.
Candidates with relevant supervisory or team management experience will be preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving and team management skills.
Hands-on experience in factory facilities and equipment maintenance across multiple utility and building systems.
Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in contractor management and engineering project management.
Familiar with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.
Experience in audit preparation, audit support, and regulatory compliance management will be an added advantage.
