Standard Chartered in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Bumiputera Affluent acquisition strategy. You will drive revenue, AUM growth and cross-border wealth solutions while building and guiding a high-performing RM team.

Key responsibilities include setting targets, monitoring pipelines, and ensuring compliant sales practices, with a focus on Shariah-compliant wealth products and cross-border financing offerings for HNW Bumiputera clients.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in banking with demonstrable knowledge of banking practices and financial products, with 3-5 years in sales leadership.
• Favourable track record in managing sales and/or operations or demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales performance.
• Strong understanding of the Bumiputera market segment, government initiatives, related banking products, Zakat and Faraid law.
• Ability to coach, inspire and mobilise Branch team members to deliver exceptional performance.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a service culture.

Mansioni

• Lead and grow the Bumiputera Affluent segment by driving sales, revenue and AUM targets through a dedicated relationship management team.
• Deliver tailored wealth solutions including cross-border offerings such as overseas property financing to meet the evolving needs of HNW Bumiputera clients.
• Cascade sales targets to RM teams, track pipeline and conversion.
• Own end-to-end sales pipeline – from lead generation and qualification to conversion – using sales tracking tools to monitor progress against target.
• Drive cross-sell and deepening of wallet share across investment, financing (including cross border) and insurance/takaful products.
• Ensure sales practices comply with regulatory and internal advisory standards.
• Recruit, coach and performance-manage RMs, conduct regular business reviews and drive training on product knowledge and Shariah-compliant wealth solutions.
• Regularly communicate strategy, targets and market updates across sales team through huddles.
• Set direction and drive high performance by translating strategy into clear direction, aligning individual goals to team outcomes and providing feedback.
• Develop talent through coaching and career conversations that build critical skills.
• Lead by example by upholding Bank values, risk and conduct standards, and fostering inclusive culture.
