Job summary

HSBC in Puchong, Malaysia, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Client Engagement within International Wealth and Personal Banking. You will lead and drive the sales team targeting affluent clients, focusing on need-based selling across accounts, cards and borrowing products, and refer mortgage leads.

You will execute acquisition plans, build relationships with customers and corporate clients at events, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver HSBC's value and maintain compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Banking sales or customer acquisition with team lead experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to execute tactical sales plans and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, self-driven and results-focused.
• Demonstrated experience in acquiring affluent segment with strong products knowledge in Cards, Loan and Borrowing products.

Responsibilities

• Achieve performance expectations and contribute towards the mobile sales’ business and bottom line, in line with the IWPB strategic direction.
• Building a high-performance sales culture and execute tactical action plans & sourcing potential clients for new business opportunities to grow affluent segments customer.
• Accelerate business growth and enhance customer experience by conducting impactful client presentations and fostering relationship with high-potential customers.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with timely and professional resolution.
• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and maintain personal conduct that is in line with HSBC values and code of conduct.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, branch staffs and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
