Job summary

Hemei Life Care Center Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor is seeking a hands-on Senior Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance across our life care centres. You will report to the assigned branch daily, travel between seven locations, and ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

The role requires a car and valid driving licence, with a 3-month probation and a salary of RM3,000–RM3,500 per month plus RM300 travel allowance. Medical benefits apply.

Job description

Location: Kuala Lumpur & Selangor
Employment Type: Full-time
Monthly Salary: RM3,000–RM3,500, depending on experience and skills
Monthly Travel Allowance: RM300

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Maintenance Technician to carry out maintenance and repair work across our life care centres in Cheras Maluri, Seri Kembangan, Selayang, Klang, Sri Damansara, Shah Alam and Kuchai Lama.

You will report directly to the assigned branch each day, according to the maintenance schedule. You must own a car and hold a valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical wiring, plumbing and general maintenance work.
• Perform air‑conditioner cleaning, servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect, maintain and repair lighting, door locks, furniture and centre equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and occasional emergency repairs.
• Keep tools and work areas safe, clean and organised.
• Centre staff can assist with carrying items or holding components when needed. The technician should be able to carry out the technical work independently.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Practical skills in electrical wiring, plumbing and air‑conditioner cleaning and servicing.
• Air‑conditioner fault diagnosis and repair skills are an added advantage.
• Formal technical qualifications are not required; practical experience is sufficient.
• Must own a car and hold a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel between all seven branches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
• Able to communicate in at least one of the following languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin.
• Reliable, responsible and able to manage daily tasks independently.
• Candidates who can start soon are preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday: 8:30am–5:00pm

Lunch break: 1:00pm–2:00pm

Overtime is infrequent. Occasional emergency repairs may be required outside normal working hours.

Monthly salary of RM3,000–RM3,500.

Fixed monthly travel allowance of RM300, covering petrol, tolls and parking.

Medical benefits: RM500 for the employee and RM300 for a registered spouse and children.

8 days of annual leave.

12 public holidays.

3-month probation period, with possible early confirmation based on performance.
