Job summary

Life Centre / KL Live Event Hall in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily checks and maintenance of building amenities, including water features, escalators, lifts, CCTV, pumps, and more. You will rectify faults per incident reports and ensure all risers and locks are secure, with the ability to troubleshoot independently.

Experience in plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical upkeep is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in basic plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical facility upkeep.
• Experience in property management and strata knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to work on shifts and 6 days per week.
• Able to start on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of building amenities.
• Rectify faults per Tenant's incident report.
• Ensure risers are secure and locks are functional.
• Check equipment to ensure they run correctly.
• Complete repairs and verify timers are in order.
• Maintain and repair common area facilities.
• Prepare notices for residents prior to servicing.
• Supervise M&E service providers during monthly servicing.
• Record water consumption readings and submit before billing.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by Management.
• Troubleshoot building issues independently.

Job description

Carry out daily checks and maintenance for all building amenities, including water features, escalators, lift, CCTV, pumps, grease trap, etc.

Rectify faults according to Tenant's incident report

Ensure all risers are properly secured and all locks are in good condition

Check all equipment to ensure they are in good running order

Ensure all repair works are completed and all timers are in order

Maintain and repair all the common area properties & facilities.

Ensure all services are done and completed in a professional manner

Ensure that all notices are prepared to inform residents prior to servicing

Follow all M&E service providers during their monthly servicing to ensure no parts are removed except for faulty parts and keep the service report

Take readings of water consumption and submit to admin clerk 3 days before generating the monthly billings

Undertake any ad-hoc tasks and other assignments as directed by Management

Proven hands-on experience in basic plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical facility upkeep

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot general building issues effectively

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience as Technician / Maintenance Assistant.
• Experience working in property management and an understanding of the strata property will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work on shifts and 6 days per week.
• Discipline, and independent person.
• Able to start in a short notice is an added advantage.
