Job summary

CS E&I Engineering Malaysia is seeking an experienced M&E Project Coordinator in Johor to oversee mechanical and electrical works on site. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and consultants to keep the project on schedule, monitor progress and ensure safety and quality.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in construction with site exposure, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and willingness to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in construction with project site experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, MS Office and Project.
• Willing to travel/outstation for project needs.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to align with the project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety of M&E installations.
• Liaise with the client, design team, and other stakeholders on M&E-related matters.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for handover to the client.
• Report on the progress of M&E works and any issues encountered during the project.
• Monitor M&E project costs and budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Ensure safety measures are carried out.
• Prepare monthly progress claims for PM review and submission.
