Job summary

MGB Berhad is seeking an M&E Coordinat or to supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on site, ensuring timely completion and quality. The role requires liaising with civil, architectural teams and clients, and preparing progress reports and handover documents.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in relevant engineering disciplines and experience in M&E coordination or site supervision, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Relevant working experience in M&E coordination or site supervision in construction.
• Good knowledge of M&E works, drawings, specs, testing & commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day M&E works at site to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
• Plan and coordinate M&E with Civil & Structural, Architectural, and other parties for proper coordination.
• Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with drawings and project requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities on M&E matters.
• Attend meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up actions.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and handover of M&E works.
• Prepare M&E progress reports, diaries, correspondence and project docs.
• Verify subcontractors’ monthly progress claims based on actual work.
• Prepare as-built drawings and handover documents; carry out other duties as required.
