Job summary

ECO WORLD PROJECT MANAGEMENT SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Manager, Mechanical & Electrical to lead planning, design integration and performance of M&E across developments. You will drive standards, resource deployment and cross-project collaboration for sustainable, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires deep M&E expertise, leadership of managers and teams, and a focus on digital tools and value engineering to optimize outcomes for complex projects in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with BEM preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in M&E roles, with 4+ years in leadership or multi-project roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee M&E strategy across multiple developments from pre-construction to commissioning.
• Ensure integration of M&E with architectural, structural and ID requirements.
• Define standardized M&E specifications, testing protocols and performance benchmarks.
• Lead design validation meetings and coordinate consultants to reduce rework.
• Monitor cost plans, value engineering outcomes and procurement alignment.
• Lead M&E risk reviews and escalate issues to prevent delays or failures.
• Ensure thorough T&C plans, witness tests and handover documentation.
• Engage with authorities and consultants to expedite approvals and compliance.
