Job summary

Eco World in Malaysia seeks a Manager, M&E to lead the delivery of the complete mechanical and electrical scope for assigned development projects.

The role translates project plans into coordinated team actions, manages consultants and contractors, ensures regulatory and technical compliance, and is accountable for project-level M&E performance from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• BEM registration preferred.
• Certifications in energy management, GBI, or lift/fire systems are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design review and coordination of M&E drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and engineers to resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and approvals for M&E systems.
• Oversee on-site M&E installation and QA/QC.
• Coordinate handover, testing, and commissioning.
• Lead and develop the M&E team and manage performance.
• Provide updates to management on progress and risks.
