Job summary

MB World Group Berhad is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical works on high-rise developments in Malaysia. You will oversee schedules, site activities, and technical submissions to ensure timely delivery.

Reporting to senior management, you will mentor site engineers and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and contractual

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant M&E experience on high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, authority requirements, and construction regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall planning, coordination, execution, and management of M&E works for assigned projects, including project scheduling, construction activities, and reporting.
• Lead and coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth implementation of M&E works.
• Develop, monitor, and update master and detailed work programmes to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee site progress, technical submissions, drawings, material approvals, catalogues, and sample approvals.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise site personnel, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Attend and lead project coordination meetings, site inspections, testing & commissioning activities, and progress reviews.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractors' progress claims and ensure timely submission and certification of project claims.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and project-related issues to minimize delays and project risks.
