Job summary

EcoWorld is seeking a Manager, M&E in Malaysia to lead the complete mechanical and electrical scope for development projects. You will translate plans into coordinated actions, manage consultants, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance from design through handover.

Lead and develop the M&E team, allocate work, monitor performance, and resolve major issues within authority. Responsibilities include design review, authority submissions, site oversight, testing, and stakeholder

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering; BEM registration preferred.
7–10 years in M&E roles within property development or construction.
Experience coordinating authority submissions and overseeing site execution from installation to handover.

Responsibilities

Design Review & Coordination with consultants and architects to resolve conflicts and ensure M&E integration.
Authority & Regulatory Submissions including BOMBA and local councils with timely documentation.
Site Implementation Oversight to ensure conformance with drawings, specs, and safety standards.
Testing & Commissioning planning and coordination, witness testing, and defect rectification prior to handover.
Stakeholder Collaboration with project team, procurement, and contracts for timely decisions.
Team Leadership & Performance Management of Assistant Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors with clear accountability.
