Job summary

VESTLAND RESOURCES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to oversee all Mechanical & Electrical works for high-rise building projects. You will plan, coordinate, execute and monitor M&E activities to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence and compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, with a focus on drawings review, testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant M&E construction experience, especially in high-rise projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate M&E activities with consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, method statements and submissions for compliance.
• Ensure installations meet project specs, regulations and standards.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Attend meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Uphold safety and quality standards across the works.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and adherence to schedules.
• Prepare progress reports and cost forecasts for management.
