Senior M&E Construction Lead – High-Rise Projects

Job summary

CNQC in Johor Bahru is seeking a senior M&E engineer to review project specs, lead coordination with consultants, main contractors and sub-contractors for M&E works, and ensure progress aligns with quality and safety standards on high-rise projects.

You will plan and monitor M&E installation per schedule, ensure compliance with local regulations, attend project meetings, and address technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years in M&E construction, preferably high-rise.
• Residential (high-rise) experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Electrical, ELV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection, ACMV systems.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and technical clarifications.
• Lead and coordinate with consultants, main contractors and sub-contractors for M&E works procedures of the assigned projects.
• Ensure the smooth progress and efficiency of the construction works by adhering to quality control policy, in accordance with specification standards, quality guidance, safety regulation on site and contractual obligations.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor M&E installation works according to the project schedule.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical advice on M&E-related issues.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site issues promptly.
