Job summary

Molex Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Logistics Supervisor to lead customs and trade compliance for our operations. You will coordinate with regulatory authorities, oversee documentation and clearance, and guide the shipping team to ensure compliant and timely movements.

This role requires 5+ years in customs/trade compliance with supervisory experience; knowledge of Malaysian laws and international trade rules; must communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia and manage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in customs/trade compliance, with supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Malaysian customs laws and international trade regulations.
• Experience leading shipping, customs or trade-related activities.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact with RMCD, MITI, Free Zone authorities and other regulators.
• Represent Molex during customs audits and inspections.
• Monitor changes in regulations, HS codes, duties and FTAs; assess impact.
• Manage renewals of licences and permits (LMW, Bon AM, Bank Guarantee).
• Supervise customs declarations and train team on procedures.
