Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Developer – LIMS to lead design, development, and maintenance of the LIMS and related lab IT solutions. The role bridges laboratory operations, business processes, digitalization, and software development to deliver efficient workflows.

The successful candidate will contribute to the digital transformation of analytical laboratories through reliable system architecture, instrument integration, and data-driven operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in LIMS, software development, system integration, or laboratory informatics.
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage and/or LabWare.
• Experience with laboratory processes and digitalization initiatives.
• Experience in LIMS implementation, configuration, customization, or support is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, maintain, and support LIMS applications.
• Manage system releases, upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.
• Monitor and ensure system performance, stability, and availability.
• Translate business and laboratory requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Automate and optimize laboratory workflows and processes.
• Support laboratory digital transformation initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance LIMS architecture and system interfaces.
• Integrate LIMS with ERP, MES, laboratory instruments, and other business applications.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and seamless information flow across systems.
• Support API and system integration development.
• Support LIMS implementation, enhancement, and integration projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, laboratory users, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, testing, and successful delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
