Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a laboratory technician to perform tests according to current and new methods. You will support ISO 9001:2015 requirements and ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining good laboratory practices.

Ideal candidates have a diploma/bachelor’s in engineering, chemistry or physics and at least one year of related experience, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Material/Electronics), Chemistry, Physics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience in the related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as per accordance with existing/new test methods or procedures.
• Timeliness and accuracy to meet turnaround time.
• Assist in fulfilling the requirements for the effective implementation of ISO 9001:2015.
• Use the available resources in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory practice in the laboratory.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.
