Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia, Johor Bahru, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer with 4-5 years of IT infrastructure experience. The role covers end-user support, server administration, network, and security tasks to maintain stability and security of the IT environment.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote end-user support, patch management, network troubleshooting, backup monitoring (Arcserve UDP), and assisting in IT projects, with a focus on continuous service

Qualifications

Degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure operations.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in LAN/network infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user support on-site and remotely across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Perform routine system administration tasks, including Windows Server maintenance and patching.
Manage network infrastructure, DNS/DHCP, switches, firewalls, and security controls.
Monitor backups and disaster recovery readiness; coordinate with IS teams.
Support daily IT operations and ongoing infrastructure projects.
