3E Worldwide Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Executive to support IT infrastructure, business applications, hardware, and daily retail operations. You will provide technical and application support to HQ and retail branches, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operation.
The ideal candidate has IT support experience, knowledge of POS systems, ERP, and basic networking. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and must be prepared to travel to branches as needed.
We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and hands-on IT Executive to support the company's IT infrastructure, business applications, hardware, and daily retail operations.
The successful candidate will provide technical and application support to HQ and retail branches, troubleshoot IT-related issues, maintain IT assets, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems that support daily business activities.
Candidates with an understanding of retail operations, POS systems, inventory management, and business application workflows will have an added advantage.
1. IT Technical Support & Infrastructure
Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computers, printers, POS equipment, and IT peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and system performance issues.
Provide remote and on-site IT support to HQ users and retail branches.
Monitor and maintain basic network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure IT equipment and systems operate reliably and securely.
2. Business Application & Retail Operations Support
Provide first-level application support for POS systems, inventory management, ERP, and other business applications.
Assist users in troubleshooting application errors, system issues, and operational problems.
Support daily retail operations, including sales transactions, cashier operations, stock receiving, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, and day-end processes.
Understand business workflows and assist users in identifying and resolving system-related operational issues.
Investigate application issues, gather relevant information, and coordinate with software vendors or internal teams for resolution.
Assist with application setup, configuration, testing, deployment, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide basic system guidance and training to end users on application functions and operational procedures.
Support system enhancements and improvements to streamline retail operations.
3. IT Asset Management & Documentation
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, including equipment allocation, movement, condition, and lifecycle.
Track IT equipment deployment, replacement, repairs, and warranty status.
Maintain proper documentation of IT support requests, troubleshooting activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Ensure IT equipment and software are properly maintained and accounted for.
Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for technical support, repairs, warranty claims, and system-related issues.
Follow up on outstanding support cases to ensure timely resolution.
Provide IT support for new store openings, store relocations, and equipment deployment when required.
Perform other IT-related duties and assignments as required by management.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience in IT technical support, helpdesk, infrastructure, or application support will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
Basic understanding of network troubleshooting, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Familiarity with retail POS systems, inventory management, ERP, or other business applications is an advantage.
Basic understanding of retail business processes, including sales, stock receiving, stock transfers, inventory control, and cashier operations, is preferred.
Ability to understand application workflows, investigate user-reported issues, and communicate effectively with software vendors.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Willing to learn new technologies, applications, and business processes.
Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
Willing to travel to retail branches or outstation when required.

Basic SQL knowledge for data checking and troubleshooting.
