Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT technical support, network/system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise routers, switches, and Wireless Access Points (APs) (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus).
• Strong understanding of core networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and VLAN segmentation.
• Practical experience configuring firewall policies (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos) and establishing secure IPsec / SSL VPN tunnels.
• Capability managing users, security groups, password policies, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) via Active Directory or Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Routine management of enterprise backup systems (e.g., Veeam, Synology, Acronis) to ensure data integrity against ransomware.
• Hands‑on experience provisioning, scaling, and monitoring virtual machines (VMs) within VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Strong familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite, and corporate email systems (Microsoft 365).
• Ability to work independently under minimal guidance and deliver timely support to enterprise users.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

1. Network Deployment & Troubleshooting

Install, configure, and maintain office routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points (APs).

Administer and monitor Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity to ensure stability.

Manage corporate IP address allocations, DHCP pools, and internal/external DNS settings.

Set up and troubleshoot secure remote access (VPN) tunnels for hybrid and remote employees.

2. System & Server Administration

Manage physical servers, Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, and virtual machines (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).

Administer Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD, including creating user accounts, resetting passwords, managing security groups, and enforcing Group Policies (GPOs).

Maintain, update, and patch Windows Server and Linux enterprise environments.

Handle cloud email tenant configurations, licensing, and access rules (e.g., Microsoft 365).

3. Cybersecurity & Uptime Continuity

Deploy and manage corporate Antivirus/EDR software across all user laptops and internal servers.

Keep firewall firmware updated and configure security rules to block unauthorized network traffic.

Execute daily, weekly, and monthly system backups, verifying data integrity to prevent loss from ransomware or hardware failure.

4. Technical Support & Asset Management

Resolve complex hardware, operating system, and software issues.

Maintain an accurate inventory log of all network equipment, server parts, corporate software licenses, and IT assets.

Write and update technical SOPs, network diagrams, and user‑facing troubleshooting guides.

Communicate with internet service providers (ISPs) to report and resolve network downtime or packet loss issues.

Research hardware specifications and coordinate with IT vendors to acquire replacement parts or new network gear.

Assist in the physical setup and cable management during office moves, server room upgrades, or new branch openings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must Have

Familiarity with deploying Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) agents or interpreting vulnerability data via SIEM tools.

Willing to travel to branches when required.
