Job summary

Pastry Pro Sdn. Bhd in Kepong is seeking an Assist Food Safety & Compliance Executive to maintain ISO22000 and quality systems, and assist in setting up OSHA.

You will conduct product testing, support new product development, and prepare training materials while ensuring halal compliance and coordinating with R&D, Operations and Business Development teams. Fresh graduates are welcome; ability to work six days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field is required or encouraged for fresh graduates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food Safety & Compliance Executive in maintaining ISO22000 and quality systems.
• Assist in setting up OSHA.
• Conduct product testing and support new product development; prepare training materials.
• Handle customers' requirements on documentation and complaints.
• Coordinate with business development team and external instructor for classes.
• Assist internal audits in warehouse and showroom prior to customer audits.
• Monitor halal policy compliance by warehouse and showroom.
• Upgrade quality system to fulfil customers' requirements.
• Involve in product training to marketing when necessary.
• Handle ad-hoc projects.

Internal audit to warehouse and showroom before any customers' audits

Assist to monitor and ensure halal policy being compliance by warehouse and showroom

Upgrade quality system whenever necessary in order to fulfil customers' requirements

Involve in product training to marketing whenever necessary

Handle ad-hoc projects

Job requirement:

Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Nutrition or equivalent.

Fresh graduate or 1 year experience is encouraged.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.

Highly responsible and reliable.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Good communication and interpersonal skill.

Willing to work in Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong and work for 6 days a week.
