The Senior IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, websites, cybersecurity, and end-user technical support. The role ensures system reliability, security, and optimal performance to support business operations and production activities.
Job Scope
1. Server Management
- - Install, configure, maintain, and monitor physical and virtual servers.
- - Manage server performance, capacity planning, and system availability.
- - Perform regular backup and recovery procedures.
- - Monitor server health and troubleshoot hardware or software issues.
- - Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning.
2. Network Administration
- - Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- - Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- - Configure and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and access points.
- - Ensure secure and stable network operations across all locations.
- - Maintain network documentation and asset records.
3. Website Management
- - Maintain and update company websites and web applications.
- - Coordinate with vendors or developers on website enhancements and maintenance.
- - Monitor website performance, availability, and security.
- - Manage domain registrations, hosting services, and SSL certificates.
- - Support integration of web-based systems and services.
4. Cybersecurity
- - Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
- - Monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and system logs.
- - Manage endpoint protection, antivirus, firewall, email security, and access controls.
- - Conduct security assessments and recommend risk mitigation measures.
- - Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees.
- - Ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Technical Support
- - Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end users.
- - Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and system issues.
- - Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
- - Manage IT service requests and incident resolution within SLA timelines.
- - Maintain IT inventory, asset management, and system documentation.
Requirements
Education
- - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
- - Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant IT experience.
- - Experience in server administration, networking, cybersecurity, and technical support.
- - Experience in media, animation, production, or creative industries is an added advantage.
