Job summary

TechTalent, a Malaysia-based tech staffing provider, seeks an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to drive recruitment success within Malaysia's IT and Engineering sectors by managing the full lifecycle and building strong client relationships.

You will develop sourcing strategies, headhunt top talent, and coordinate interviews across Malaysia, delivering market intelligence and hiring insights while meeting targets. This role offers dynamic growth in a fast-paced, tech-driven market.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of recruitment experience in IT/Engineering sectors in Malaysia.
• Proven ability to manage 360-degree recruitment and client/account management.
• Strong headhunting and sourcing capabilities for specialist roles.
• Fluent or strong working proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• Experience using recruitment databases/ATS and major sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from intake to placement and post-placement follow-up.
• Discuss requirements, budgets, and hiring priorities with clients and hiring managers.
• Develop sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates.
• Source and headhunt candidates via platforms like LinkedIn, JobStreet, Foundit, referrals, and networks.
• Screen and interview candidates to assess technical fit, experience, and motivation.
• Prepare professional candidate profiles and present suitable candidates to clients.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure clear communication between candidates and clients.
• Build and maintain sustainable talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
• Manage relationships with clients across Malaysia, providing market intelligence and hiring insights.
• Negotiate recruitment terms, fees, and commercial arrangements when needed.
• Handle multiple client accounts and vacancies while meeting targets.
