Job summary

TechTalent, a Malaysia-based tech staffing solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead recruitment within Malaysia's IT and engineering sectors.

You will manage the full lifecycle from intake to placement, build client relationships, headhunt hard-to-fill roles, and develop sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, JobStreet and Foundit. Hybrid work in Petaling Jaya with visa restrictions.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• 4–6 years of recruitment experience, ideally in agency/staffing.
• 360-degree recruitment with delivery and client/account management.
• Strong IT/Engineering market knowledge in Malaysia.
• Independently manage vacancies from intake to placement.
• Excellent headhunting and candidate sourcing for hard-to-fill roles.
• Knowledge of salary benchmarks and the Malaysian talent market.
• Experience with recruitment databases/ATS and major sourcing platforms.
• Strong Mandarin and English communication for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from intake to placement.
• Discuss requirements with clients and hiring managers to align needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates.
• Source and headhunt via LinkedIn, JobStreet, Foundit, referrals.
• Screen and interview candidates for technical fit and availability.
• Prepare candidate profiles and present to clients.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain client-candidate communications.
• Build sustainable talent pipelines for recurring roles.
• Manage client relationships across Malaysia and provide market insights.
• Negotiate terms, fees, and commercial arrangements when needed.
• Handle multiple vacancies and meet targets.
