Job summary

TA Global Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to develop interior concepts, space planning, and coordinate design development with project teams.

The role involves reviewing submissions, coordinating with consultants and suppliers, producing 3D renderings and CAD drawings, and supporting site progress through construction.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Good communication in English, Bahasa, or Chinese (optional).
• Willingness to travel for site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts and space planning with project teams.
• Review design submissions for alignment with design direction and standards.
• Coordinate with in-house and external consultants, suppliers and contractors.
• Integrate senior management feedback and review finishes, materials and FF&E.
• Produce 3D renderings (3Ds Max) and detailed CAD drawings (AutoCAD/V-Ray).
• Monitor site progress and resolve design-related construction issues.
• Prepare project documentation and track decisions, approvals, and actions.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Develop interior design concepts, space planning, and coordinate design development with project teams.

Review design submissions to ensure alignment with the overall design direction, brand standards, and project requirements.

Manage in-house projects and coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors.

Coordinate senior management feedback and review key finishes, materials, FF&E, and space planning.

Prepare 3D renderings using 3Ds Max & V-Ray and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.

Monitor site progress and resolve design-related technical issues during construction.

Prepare project documentation and track design decisions, approvals, and outstanding actions.

Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

Candidate should possess a minimum Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or a related field.

Preferable 7 to 10 years working experience

Organizational skills and attention to detail

Candidate should be IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD

Good communication skills in English, Bahasa, or Chinese Speaker (optional)

Possess a good balance of design flair and sense of practicality

Required to travel for attending site meetings.
