Job summary

Hochuen Medical Sdn Bhd is seeking an Injection Molding Technician in Johor Bahru. The role covers mold changes, setup, troubleshooting, operation and routine maintenance of injection molding equipment. You will work with production to ensure molded parts meet specifications and address any quality issues.

Qualifications include a technical diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years in injection molding. OT may be required on weekends; training provided in a brand-new environment.

Qualifications

• SPM/Technical Certificate/Diploma or equal required.
• 2–5 years injection molding process experience required.
• Strong mechanical abilities with plastics/injection molding experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
• Able to follow superior instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold and material changing processes.
• Ensure mold setup, changeovers and housekeeping meet standards.
• Set and verify molding machines and parameters to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with production to ensure molded parts meet requirements; adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and monitor cycle times.
• Maintain constant injection conditions throughout production.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes for efficiency.
• Address QC findings and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Inspect machines daily and report maintenance needs.
• Train and coach machine operators on procedures.
• Adhere to all safety, quality and work rules.
