Job summary

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled technician to optimize plastic injection molding processes. You will improve quality, cycle time and efficiency by tuning process parameters and supporting mold setups.

You will train mold setters, verify mold setups (up and down), document process parameters and equipment checks, and maintain a safe, 7S workspace. The role requires at least 3 years in injection molding.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of injection molding experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality, cycle time and efficiency through process parameter optimization.
• Troubleshoot process parameters and support maintenance tasks.
• Key in machine parameter settings after mold setup per mold card.
• Guide and train mold setters.
• Verify and follow up on completion of mold setup (Up & Down Mold).
• Ensure documentation of molding parameters and equipment condition checklists.
• Perform daily 7S activities and maintain a safe, high-standard workplace.
• Report quality or process problems to superior.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
