Job summary

Flintex Consulting is seeking an experienced Injection Molding specialist in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role focuses on operating injection molding machines, optimizing process parameters, and leading mold testing and trials to ensure high-quality molded parts.

You will coordinate with vendors and production teams, perform DOE studies, and advise on moldability, tool steel grades, and resin selection to reduce maintenance and guarantee shots.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or manufacturing.
• At least 8 years of hands-on work experience in injection molding.
• Understand mold construction and plastic parts drawings with critical GD&T callouts
• Proficient in molding simulation software such as Moldflow, Moldex3D

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Apply optimal injection parameters for dimensional stability and defect-free parts.
• Lead mold testing and qualification during trials.
• Coordinate mold development with vendors, planners and production.
• Conduct DOE to study parameter effects with data-driven analysis.
• Resolve injection-related issues; provide moldability advice.
• Understand tool steel grades and resin selection for mold guarantees.
