Job summary

Subur Tiasa Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer (Momawater) to support daily production and maintenance in the injection moulding department. You will troubleshoot and resolve machine, mould and production issues, monitor quality, and coordinate with production personnel to ensure a smooth workflow.

Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering fields.
• Minimum2 yearsof relevant experience in injection moulding, maintenance or a related technical role.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work on shifts, overtime and study when required.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production and maintenance operations for the injection moulding department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine, mould and production issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor production quality and output to ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate and guide production personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist the Supervisor in daily operational activities including shift planning and task delegation.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on injection moulding equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation related to production and maintenance activities.
