Job summary

Goldpar Precision Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Injection Molding Technician to manage molds, setups, troubleshooting, and operation of injection molding equipment. You will contribute to molding efficiency and continuous improvement to meet KPIs.

The role requires practical experience in machine parameter setting, process adjustment, defect analysis, and a focus on quality. Teamwork, independent problem solving, and the ability to work shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• SPM/Technical Certificate/Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in injection moulding.
• Ability to set machine parameters and adjust processes.
• Identify root causes of molding defects and take corrective actions.
• Capability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tooling condition through daily mould cleaning schedule.
• Assist supervisor in daily mould change schedule.
• Machine and process troubleshooting.
• Assist mould setup/down mould/shutdown process.
• Assist supervisor to compile daily production report.
• Follow instruction from supervisor and 4M change.
• Daily machine parameter record.
• Update abnormal faulty record.

Job description

The injection molding technician will be responsible for all aspects of the injection mold processes including changing out molds, completing setups, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of injection mold equipment. The role will also support molding efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production KPIs.

Key responsibilities

Maintain tooling condition through daily mould cleaning schedule

Assist supervisor in charge of daily mould change schedule

Machine and process troubleshooting

Assist mould setup/down mould/shutdown process

Assist supervisor to compound daily production report

Follow instruction from superior and 4M change

Daily machine parameter record

Update abnormal faulty record

About you

Possess at least SPM/Technical Certificate/Diploma or equivalent

Experience in injection moulding (2 years and above)

Experienced in machine parameter setting, process adjustment, troubleshooting, and defect analysis

Good understanding of injection molding processes, molds/tooling, plastic materials, and common molding defects

Able to identify root causes of molding and quality problems and take effective corrective actions

Experience in mold/tooling trial and process optimization will be an advantage

Able to work independently, troubleshoot problems effectively, and respond quickly to production issues

Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Able to work under hot working environment

Able to work shift (7:00AM-7:00PM / 7:00PM-7:00AM)

Able to work at Taman Teknologi, Senai.
