Job summary

MY01 Wolfspeed Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Ipoh to design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will manage Dell servers, NetApp and Pure storage, VMware vSphere, and cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability and performance. You will automate infrastructure using PowerShell, Python, and Bash, participate in DR planning, and mentor junior engineers while documenting architectures

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
• Expert-level with Dell server hardware and management tools (iDRAC, OpenManage).
• Extensive NetApp storage administration and protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI).
• Advanced VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter expertise.
• Cloud proficiency in AWS and Azure for data-center services.
• Strong scripting for automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects and mentoring juniors.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud.
• Manage Dell servers, NetApp and Pure storage, and VMware environments.
• Collaborate with network, security, and app teams for integration.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security.
• Provide Tier2 support and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Document infrastructure architecture and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Handle ServiceNow ticketing and incident management.
