Job summary

Logicalis Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced L3 Infrastructure professional to support enterprise environments across VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, and backup platforms. The role involves resolving complex incidents, performing RCA, and guiding junior engineers, while ensuring service levels are met.

The on-site posting at Iskandar Puteri, Johor, collaborates with regional teams and partners to deliver robust IT infrastructure and DR readiness. Strong ITIL foundation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure/system engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS.
• Good experience with NetApp storage.
• Strong experience with either NetBackup and/or Veeam.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-site environments.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• VMware VCP, Cisco, NetApp, Veeam or relevant infrastructure certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 technical support for complex infrastructure incidents.
• Troubleshoot server, virtualization, storage, backup, and compute issues.
• Lead troubleshooting for major incidents and outages.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify permanent corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLA.
