Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in server administration and virtualization.
• Strong experience in VMware / Hyper‑V, Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backup & disaster recovery solutions, and enterprise storage systems.
• Knowledge of IT security standards, system hardening, and compliance practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑level infrastructure in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the IT Manager in infrastructure planning and execution.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.
• Willing to travel to project sites if required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain server environments (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Manage VM provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and resource optimization.
• Perform server installation, configuration, patch management, upgrades, and system hardening.
• Monitor system health, availability, and capacity planning for optimal performance.
• Manage core services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and application servers.
• Provide Level 2 infrastructure support, troubleshoot server/storage/virtualization/network issues, and coordinate with vendors; maintain documentation.
• Manage enterprise backup solutions, conduct DR drills, supportBusiness Continuity planning, and ensure security/compliance controls.
• Assist in infrastructure design, upgrades, migrations, and project implementations with adherence to timelines.
• Liaise with auditors, prepare system reports and evidence, track findings, and assist IT Manager in governance.
• Manage server hardware lifecycle, licensing for server OS/virtualization, and infrastructure reporting.
• Provide ad-hoc cross-functional support for project sites and internal departments.
