Job summary
Erast Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HVAC Senior Engineer/Manager to lead energy efficiency initiatives for commercial and industrial cooling systems. You will guide technical discussions with clients, provide optimization strategies, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with external partners to deliver high-impact, cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC energy efficiency.
- Strong expertise in energy efficiency for commercial and industrial cooling systems.
- Excellent commercial acumen and business insight.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with clients regarding their cooling system setups and energy efficiency goals.
- Provide expert advice to internal teams and external stakeholders on energy optimization strategies.
- Analyze clients' cooling systems to assess current efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop cost-effective, high-level design proposals and strategic solutions for prospective clients.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with external engineering partners for project execution.
- Engage with OEM equipment suppliers across the region to support project needs.
- Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Mentor and train junior staff to enhance team capabilities and performance.
