Job summary

LTH Services Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Lead HVAC/ACMV design engineer to drive feasibility studies and energy-saving analyses for complex high-tech facilities. You will own end-to-end technical proposals for major accounts and review engineering designs prepared by junior engineers.

Responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, mentoring junior staff, and engaging with client teams. Must be able to travel across Penang/Kedah sites; PE registration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (PE registration is an advantage).
• 3–5 years' experience in HVAC/ACMV design, with exposure to semiconductor or high-tech facilities.
• Strong track record in chiller plant, cooling tower, VRF and ventilation system design.
• Proven ability to prepare and defend technical/financial proposals to clients.
• Project management experience (budget, schedule, subcontractor management).
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Own transport; willingness to travel across Penang/Kedah project sites.

• Provide technical leadership on cooling tower, chiller plant, VRF and make-up air system projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and supervisors.
• Identify upsell/service opportunities within existing accounts (maintenance contracts, retrofit projects).
• Represent LTH Services in technical discussions with client engineering/facilities teams.
