Job summary

IAQ Group in Shah Alam, Malaysia, invites an experienced HVAC/Mechatronics engineer to lead design and calculations for commercial and industrial projects. You will drive tender planning, scheduling, and budgeting, while coordinating with multiple disciplines to meet project milestones.

The role requires at least 5 years of HVAC design/construction experience, independence, strong time management, and travel flexibility. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in HVAC design/construction industry.
Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Willing to travel locally and overseas and be stationed on-site when necessary.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering design and calculations.
Assist in tender planning, scheduling and budgeting.
Prepare technical reports, presentations and proposals.
Ensure design is delivered in accordance with schedule.
Coordinate with other disciplines on design and deliveries.
Provide support to construction teams and QA/QC.
