Job summary

Dpstar Thermo Control Electric Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Assistant Manager & Manager – Human Capital and Talent to lead HR functions focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, training, policies, and ISO compliance.

You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation, while aligning HR processes with audits and management goals. Strong leadership and 5–8 years of HR experience, plus knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–8 years HR experience, supervising preferred.
• Strong experience in talent acquisition, engagement, training, and employee relations.
• Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and Malaysian employment practices.
• Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS and ISO-related processes.
• Understanding of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition and employee retention activities, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement, training, and development programmes.
• Handle employee relations, conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters with timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes per company standards.
• Ensure HR processes and documentation comply with ISO requirements and audits.
• Collaborate with management on manpower and employee-related matters.
• Monitor HR processes and recommend improvements for effectiveness.
• Maintain confidential employee records using the HRMS/HRIS system.
• Supervise and guide HR team in daily HR activities.
