Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an HR generalist to assist in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration in Malaysia. You will coordinate interviews, manage contracts and records, and support payroll and benefits administration.

You will also contribute to training programs, policy development, and workforce planning, ensuring compliant HR practices across the organisation. A 3–5 year track record and strong knowledge of local labour laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology or related discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience with recruitment, employee relations and HR admin.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law, labour regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience in HR systems/databases and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and selection: job postings, screening, interview coordination and onboarding.
• Support administration of contracts, records, and personnel files in line with legal requirements.
• Coordinate employee training and development: induction, skills development and compliance training.
• Process payroll, leave, and benefits administration.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures for consistency and compliance.
• Assist in workforce planning: manpower forecasting and staffing analysis.
• Provide administrative support to streamline daily HR workflows.
