Job summary

Proton in Malaysia seeks an IT Senior Software Engineer - HR Systems responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and management of our HR technology infrastructure and leading a team of IT professionals.

You will develop HR IT strategies, manage HR systems like SAP HCM, Workday, and collaborate with HR to meet needs while ensuring high system availability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT management, with a focus on HR systems.
• Excellent, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of IT security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
• Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies for HR systems, aligning with business objectives.
• Manage the implementation and upgrades of HR systems (e.g. SAP HCM, Workday, etc.).
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for HR system support.
• Ensure the security and compliance of HR systems with relevant regulations.
• Develop and manage IT budgets for HR systems.
• To be team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to identify and address needs.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of system documentation and training materials.
• Manage all system change requests.
• Ensure high system availability.
